I am an Accounting and Finance professional with a diverse combination of academic training, professional accounting experience, Canadian business education, and hands-on exposure to complex financial and operational environments. My background has developed me into a professional who can work comfortably with both the detailed day-to-day requirements of accounting and the broader financial, analytical, and operational needs of a business.

My educational foundation began with a Bachelor of Commerce from Osmania University, where I developed strong fundamentals in Accounting, Finance, Business, Business Mathematics, Analytics, and ERP systems. I subsequently pursued professional accounting studies through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), progressing from foundation through CA Intermediate while completing practical training. This significantly expanded my knowledge of Advanced Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, Taxation, Budgeting, Inventory Management, Business Law, Financial Reporting, and financial analysis. My Canadian business degree from Canadore College further complemented this foundation by providing exposure to Canadian business practices, accounting, international finance, banking operations, ERP systems, and Canada–US business and trade.

Professionally, I have developed experience across accounting, financial management, auditing, taxation, inventory, payroll, costing, and project accounting.

As a Senior Financial Manager at Phone Card Plus/Babatel, I manage accounting activities across multiple companies, including bookkeeping, Accounts Payable and Receivable, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, benefits, inventory, banking coordination, and international wire transfers. I regularly work with multiple currencies and handle transactions involving different international markets. Managing separate books for multiple companies while maintaining accurate intercompany balances requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities without compromising accuracy.

My experience at Fastrack Graphics further strengthened my capabilities in QuickBooks and Sage 50, HST filings, payroll, inventory management, costing, budgeting, financial reporting, and project accounting. Earlier, through my professional training at Vijay & Co., I was exposed to internal and statutory audits, taxation, financial reporting, financial planning, and business advisory work. I participated in audits involving major companies and banking institutions and handled taxation assignments involving numerous corporate and individual clients.

One of the most significant projects in my earlier career involved asset management and inventory valuation for a railway organization. I led a team working on the creation of an accurate inventory balance to determine available quantities and values, while developing a system capable of identifying inventory approaching reorder levels. This experience strengthened my ability to manage large volumes of information, coordinate people, analyze data, identify discrepancies, and develop practical solutions to complex operational problems.

I have also worked on cost accounting implementation for a manufacturing business and supported payroll and management accounting systems for a service organization. These experiences taught me to understand not only the numbers themselves,  but also the business processes behind those numbers.

My technical capabilities include QuickBooks, Sage 50, SAP, Focus, Tally, Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI, and other technology-based accounting solutions. I am highly adaptable to new software and systems and have a strong interest in AI and emerging technologies that can improve financial processes, analysis, reporting, and efficiency.

A key strength I bring is my ability to handle rigorous and multifaceted assignments. I am comfortable working with large volumes of transactions, multiple companies, international currencies, tight reporting requirements, reconciliations, inventory discrepancies, payroll, audits, financial investigations, and simultaneous priorities. I approach complex tasks methodically: understand the problem, break it into manageable components, analyze the underlying information, identify discrepancies or risks, and develop a practical solution.

I believe my greatest value lies in the combination of technical accounting knowledge, practical experience, analytical thinking, technological adaptability, and the ability to remain organized under pressure. Whether the requirement is maintaining accurate books, investigating a financial discrepancy, preparing reports, managing inventory, supporting an audit, analyzing costs, coordinating banking transactions, or improving an existing process, I am capable of taking ownership and working through the details required to deliver an accurate and reliable outcome.
